International Music Festival Sopot Classic is a proposition for admirers of classical music and others musical forms that are present on the Polish and international stage. Varied programmes, talented artists, young composers and performers, musical image of other nations culture – events of Sopot Classic contain it all.

The Sopot Classic Festival was created in 2011 on the initiative of management of the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot and City of Sopot. The intent of the Festival is to offer the audience a meeting with current performing trends in Poland and Europe. Music lovers receive four various concerts that enrich cultural repertoire of Sopot. It is also an interesting event for tourists arriving on holidays to Tricity.

The Sopot Classic Festival producers want to create an offer containing various musical styles, although bonded with high performing standard, excellent preparing and care for artistic and organisational details. In concerts programmes there are pieces created over the course of ages of European musical culture.

Moreover, the goal of Festival is to interest people who are not frequent visitors at philharmonic concerts. By situating concerts in widely available and known places, the organizers hope that their offer will gain public attention.
